Every camper who rises through the ranks of the Tadpole, Junior and Intermediate camps CAN’T WAIT til they get to Senior Co-Ed! And with Mukluck as their fearless leader, they are rewarded with an outstanding week at camp. Although the campers run through the usual routine at camp — Morning Watch, Beach Day, crafts, tuck — the whole team just seems to have a magical aura around them. That’s because the teens are able to let go of the insecurities they face outside of camp, and just be present and close to their peers in an inclusive environment.
This year, a leadership component has been added to Senior Co-Ed. It will integrate elements of the Leaders-in-Training Camp (LIT) into the senior camp so that all interested campers get an opportunity to investigate leadership skills. The leadership portion will be led by Cindy Harrison (Echo) because she has a wonderful rapport with young adults. Campers who are interested will be given the opportunity to identify their leadership style, set personal goals, strengthen personal assertiveness and discover some of the behind-the scenes tips at camp.
